Hisoka is Scully and Kamui is Connor, but in the live-action version, Kamui would be played by Elijah Wood in brown contacts instead of Vincent Kartheiser, because Elijah Wood has anime eyes. Subaru's character arc is all about Buddhism because ohmygod he's a Buddhist! and episode 9 is all about Buddhism! and Seishiro's power is illusion, and Subaru can see through illusions with his eyes closed, except when the illusions are Seishiro's, because Seishiro is his desire and his doom, because desire is suffering, and did I mention the colors mean stuff? and Subaru's enlightenment is the enlightenment of despair, not the enlightenment of bliss, which means it's another snare and illusion and Hokuto who is the voice of life needs to tell him, no look again, you're not seeing the world. And Karen is a Japanese Christian and the spiral of little seed-shaped flames she sows as a child are the seeds she sows in a whirlwind which bear fruit! And I bet Sorata's arc would reveal hidden meanings if I knew anything about Shinto, which I now must research, and wow, X is the BEST THING EVER and none of you reading care about it. But loligo really needs to see Episode 9 of X, and also she should be talking to kassrachel and elynross and yhlee, you should all just trust me on this.

Oh, and I could so totally vid if I had equipment and software and any visual or musical sense whatsoever. I would come up with these, like, MIND-BLOWINGLY BRILLIANT IDEAS like vidding apocalyptic cartoon violence to a cappella gospel music. Mind-blowing. I swear.
