I am in a terrible mood, so I would like to make it better by seeing people say nice things about vids. Let's do a vidding love meme.


Instructions/Rules

1. Comment with your username, a link to your vids, and the fandoms you vid for (or a selection you've vidded the most for, if you're all over the place).
   
2. People will comment telling you what their favorite vid by you is, what show/character/pairing they think you vid best, and other positive comments. They can also mention what they think you should vid more of, or anything else concerning what they like about your vidding. If you don't want anything like suggestions for what you should vid more, just mention it in your original comment.
   
3. Post it to your journal!

Very scattered fandom-wise, but I did a lot of Battlestar Galactica back in the day. I usually do one vid for a source, but I have multiple vids for Supernatural, Teen Wolf, Person of Interest, Firefly, Fringe, Doctor Who, Merlin, Angel, Dollhouse, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

I LOVE YOUR AWESOME BRAIN. Watching your vids is like letting you put my eyes and brain in a blender; it's such an experience. I can't ever figure out how it works because it's too seamless. Someday I will edit motion a third as effectively and awesomely as you. I can't even pick favs because you do so many things so well! The meta thoughts of Flawless, the poignant character work of your Ray Fiske vid, the sheer amazing onslaught that is the cutting of URA Fever. Mostly I just want to watch whatever you make next!

I love a lot of your vids, especially Hot Mess (!!), the bloody explodey ones and your multi-source vids. I would love to see more multi stuff from you like Blue and Hook Shot, because even though it's haaaard, connecting those sorts of visuals to form a narrative is something you're extraordinarily talented at. <3

Slightly out of date masterpost and vids tag, which has more recent stuff.

I've mostly vidded one-off fandoms (Brooklyn Nine Nine, Revenge, Broad City, Merlin, Don't Trust The B, Magic Mike, and other random movies) and also did a lot of Social Network vids and more recently a few vids for The Flash.

Your passion and love for your fandoms always shows through in your vids and it makes *me* squee about stuff I don't even know anything about, like your Flash, Spider-Man and Social Network vids. But it also makes me even MORE squeeful about fandoms I love, like Dynamite. I love that vid so much, it is on my playlist of vids that make me happy. Really I associate your vids a lot with happiness and squee recently because it's so clear you love the things you vid. <3

Your vids have a tangible calmness to them that I can't quite describe but they always make me feel kind of melancholy, which I love. (Maybe because Wasteland and Komm mit mir mit are my favourite vids of yours in recent memory.) I'm not familiar with most of the fandoms you vid but you always manage to make me want to check them out (Grantchester!! The Americans!! Graceland!!). And Girl in the War is one of my favourite vids ever.

Your Take Me To Church vid made me intensely interested to watch POI, it has an incredible energy to it and speaks so clearly about the nature of that relationship, and it's just gorgeous and so well done visually. One of those vids that takes you from zero to "I SHIP IT LIKE BURNING" in four minutes flat.

Most of my vids are in my vids tag and on AO3. I've made 19 vids in 18 different fandoms, so there's not one thing in particular I focus on (though with my current WIP it'll be 3 The Walking Dead vids). But I've done quite a few vids about zombies and vampires, for some reason. And some videogame vids.

I absolutely ADORED your Maleficent Shake It Off vid, like, I saw it and was like, "that could never work", but it DOES, it works PERFECTLY, because it's so cleverly crafted. It's an utter delight.

I've also still not actually seen Pacific Rim, but your King and Lionheart vid gives me extreme feels anyway - it presents their story so clearly and beautifully.

Get Me Bodied is such a fun, wonderful, gorgeously edited vid that perfectly captures the spirit of the character, and it makes me smile super-wide! I also think Final Round is wonderful, so expressive and thoughtful and smart. But probably my favourite of your vids is Give Me Everything - it was one of the things that pulled me back to Parks and Rec when I'd watched the first season and disliked it, and it fills me with joy to rewatch!

Many many fandoms, I started with Stargate Atlantis, there's Supernatural, Young Guns, Men in Black, Marvel movies and many small fandoms. Most recently I made quite a few Fast & Furious vids.

I generally vid both very small and large fandoms. Fandoms include: Supernatural, Buffyverse and a lot of other shows. Asian Dramas and Musicians. Lots of different movies too - horror, action packed, romance, etc. Also Soap Opera's such as ATWT and DOOL.

All the Rowboats! I am like the only person in the world who hasn't seen The Godfather movies, but it didn't matter because that vid was just awesome work. Such an effective mix of song and source and editing and themes, it's one of those vids where everything just works.
