I am in a terrible mood, so I would like to make it better by seeing people say nice things about vids. Let's do a vidding love meme.


Instructions/Rules

1. Comment with your username, a link to your vids, and the fandoms you vid for (or a selection you've vidded the most for, if you're all over the place).
   
2. People will comment telling you what their favorite vid by you is, what show/character/pairing they think you vid best, and other positive comments. They can also mention what they think you should vid more of, or anything else concerning what they like about your vidding. If you don't want anything like suggestions for what you should vid more, just mention it in your original comment.

cherryice! I've never really moved over here, so my vids are listed over on LJ here, as I also keep forgetting to finish putting things up at the AO3. I'm rather panfanish, so there aren't a lot of repeat fandoms. I've been vidding a lot of movies lately, but there are a couple of repeats in DW/TW, BSG, Life on Mars, Merlin, and Avatar: the Last Airbender.

You make great thinky-thoughts vids of course but I love that you've also trended towards fun stuff lately, like with your Zoolander vid. You've made some of my favorite BSG and Merlin vids and your Dexter/Criminal Minds crossover was genius and made me wish I'd thought of something like that (except I probably wouldn't be able to vid that much blood, oop).

I recently saw Moon and went around looking for vids and found yours, Another Code Against the Gone, and was blown away. I felt really uneasy after the movie and the vid helped me process my feelings. I also particularly love your Donnie Darko vid I'm Not Done and rewatch it often - it's one of the first vids I remember watching when I got into vidding; the frantic cutting and the overlays/fades into the sky impressed me so much then, and impress me so much still, and back then my thought process was something like "when I grow up I want to make vids like THAT."

Your Batman vid is still one of my favorites, and your vids in general are just such a pleasure to watch (like your Jupiter Ascending one, which had a perfectly amazing song choice!).

SHARKNADO. YOUR SHARKNADO VID. WHAT A GIFT. You had a vision and you WENT FOR IT and it is GOLDEN. Watching that in a room full of people was one of the highlights of vidukon this year :-D It was absolutely hilarious.

I love your off kilter editing, like with your Let the Right One In vid. And the Boomer vidlet. And the Amber vid you made which might have been a House vid, but I remember the Amber bits the most. Convenient Parking is still amazing. Your Morgana vid still has a place in my heart.

I watch L.E.S. Artistes a lot (like, so much) and it's better every single time, I swear. It is absolutely the best of that franchise, the visuals and themes and the amazing Sarah character study; just a masterful vid. Same with Land's End; I wore that vid file out with rewatching, because it was such a fantastic look at River. And Ponies, because PONIES are never not awesome, and that vid is a ridiculous amount of brightly-colored fun. <3

I love Unsteady Ground! I think it's a gorgeous vid, beautiful editing, great song choice. I think everything just comes together wonderfully and it's a vid I have rewatched many times.

You have a beautiful, expansive style that I love. Like...I don't know, you just fit everything in. Your vids feel dense with meaning. I'm thinking of Land's End, Glass, The Day the Air Turned Blue and Unsteady Ground in particular. All so beautiful and intricate.

I only just watched your Despicable Me Trouble vid, but it's SO cute and fun and wonderful! (You Drive Me) Crazy is a genuine classic. But my fave ever vid of yours is We Rule the World, it's just SO great and fun and awesome and a terrific pick-me-up!

I really admire the range of vids that you've made - you're so good at so many different moods and genres! From the hilarity of your Sharknado vid to the heartclutching Tamacun to really insightful things like Unsteady Ground and Only. What We Had is still one of my definitive DW vids, it captures all of my feelings about those three characters in that period of the show.

I was going to say "You made me a Take Shelter vid and therefore remain my hero," but then your list reminded me that you also made, among other things, "I'm Not Done," which is one of my favorite vids everrrrrrr, so I will flail at you about that in addition. So. Good.
