The warm-blooded do not understand the passions of snakes. You think passion is hot and affection is warm: like sun, you say, like light. And love -- you think love is gentle.
My love is not like that, Tsuzuki. My love is cold and fierce and dark, so much darker than any night you can see with eyes so accustomed to sunlight. You say that my color is black, but black is a shadow or a stone. When you call me, when you let me love you, when I've burned your eyes blind -- then you'll see what color my love is.
