So apparently I have a whole flock of cousins I never knew about. Okay. I can deal with that. Y'all are much cooller than the vast majority of my relatives, and crazy in a much more endearing fashion, and besides, having [livejournal.com profile] sisabet as my cousin means I get to use "y'all" now, right?

You can use "ya'll" only if you always, always, only use it to mean the plural of "you."

Well, of course I would use it as the plural. That's why it's *useful*.

Since you're her cousin, naturally you know that.

If you get to say y'all, you also get to eat grits, okra and-- Hmm. I was going to say ham hocks, but that might not work. Chicken necks, then; or squirrel. Mmm, squirrel brains.

I like grits. Okra and I are civil to each other, but I am on much better terms with collard greens. If chicken necks are like turkey necks, I'll probably gnaw them to marrow.

I've never had squirrel, but I'm willig to give it a go. I mean, it's a mammal, so that's already one up on eel, alligator, frog, and snail, and I like the first two.

No monkeys, though. Kissing cousins on the evolutionary tree -- much too upsetting.

Mmmmmm... okra...

And collards with bacon -- so good!
