I redid my Yuletide signups and am offering only 24 fandoms! I feel marvelously restrained. Fastidious, even. Picky.

I am trying to guess which fandom I will get, but the ways of the yuletide algorithm are mysterious (okay, except to astolat).*

* I did not try to game the system to get any particular fandoms. I am just guessing. I would be happy with them. I would be happy with any of my 22 other choices. I would be happy with things I didn't volunteer for but may end up pinch-hitting anyway. I am easy to please. While simultaneously being fastidious and picky. What? Like yuletide, I contain multitudes.

Since I am going to have a yuletide assignment and am already late on my Sweet Charity and Eid Fic assignments, I won't sign up for spn_holidays. That would be a bad idea, right? Right?

... I need support in this, guys.

This post was longer and more interesting before I got paranoid that I might have given too many hints about fandoms offered and edited it. Okay, I'm lying. It was just longer.

Weirdly, only two of them are scanlated manga, and they're *not* the ones with the fewest requests.

One of the fandoms I requested has two other requests but only one person offering. I could cry. I would offer it myself, except it would literally mean the possibility of rereading a couple thousand pages of source, and I just can't commit to it this year.

(This is not to say that the other requests would not also make me happy! But I just feel sad that I cannot do my duty here.)

Incidentally, I keep (not very seriously) trying to persuade Joe to sign up for Yuletide. He shows every sign of resisting. Man, if only I could get him to write fic for me. I would totally write fic for him, but he says it's not the same. :-D
