Companion drabble for nestra's Flesh and Bone, post-"Devil's Trill":


Hisoka shrugs off his apologies, impatient. "I knew what I was doing."

But Tsuzuki can't stop babbling, can't stop remembering, can't touch Hisoka, right, can't transmit what he remembers, what he doesn't want to remember:

How he'd even thought, *He sounds more like Hisoka when he's scared*; how Hijiri's mouth had fallen open, and how Tsuzuki had bent down to lick the tender pink inside of his lip, no, to swallow him up, no, to pull him down --

Tsuzuki is sorry, so sorry, so terrified Hisoka will realize what he's sorry for: He knew what he was doing, too.
