Poor you! American Airlines has indeed been uniformly incompetent in my experience.

I don't know if this will cheer you up, as a New Yorker, but I love NYC! So much that I burble about it in random comments! Crowded streets! Dirty Buildings! Unfriendly people! It is like being home in Delhi again. Yay for big cities!
