Dear Yuletide writer
Dear Yuletide writer,
I hope that you are well and not, like me and half my Northern-hemisphere-dwelling friends list, nursing an early winter cold. If this doesn't make much sense, let's just blame it on not enough oxygen getting to my brain.
If you have already finished my story, thank you! You are awesome and industrious and there is no need to read any further.
If you are as slow as me, which is to say not yet done, feel free to read on.
I am a Jewish atheist and am not actually too keen on stories set at Christmastime, but if you have already done a Christmas story, don't worry! I am capable of making exceptions. I think for everything I requested this year I had in mind romantic or sexual undertones or explicitness, but if that doesn't work for you, gen is fine, as long as it explores or demonstrates the relationship between the requested characters.
Fandom-specific stuff:
The Last Client (Chris Valentine/Sugiura Asahi aka Aya)
I'd love to have a version of how the manga will end, since apparently the mangaka/Japanese publishing industry will not provide. If that doesn't appeal or is too plotty, I'm fine with any kind of Chris/Aya interaction, but prefer sexy or wistful or melancholy, or some combination of the three.
L J Smith - Night World (Blaise Harman/Thea Harman)
I'm thinking femslashy undertones, but gen is fine if that squicks you. I'd love to see something that focuses on both the tension between the cousins and the strength of their connection, how they love but do not understand each other -- Blaise POV a plus, since we don't get it in the books. I'd prefer something set either before or after the novel -- in or after the coming apocalypse indicated by LJ Smith's Web site would be SUPERAWESOME, but so would going back and looking at an encounter at a previous school or how puberty changed things or dealing with the fall-out of the faux amnesia.
Vampire Knight (Yuki Cross/Zero Kiryu)
I've read the available scanlations, so no worries on spoilers through anything available in English. You know, I tried to come up with something for this, but I am just going to steal![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
springgreen's suggestions as neither my raging id nor my soft mushy heart can come up with anything I like better. I love both Yuki and Zero's semi-fraternal friendship and their hot raging vampire UST (vampire RST?), so concentrating on either aspect or both will work for me.
Revengers Tragedy(Lussurioso/Vindici)
I'm thinking of the movie, but if you haven't seen it or prefer the script or another mental production, that's cool. In fact, if you want to go crazy AU and set it in Victorian England or Heian Japan or outer space or among sentient dragons, that would be fine by me.
