An argument for offsite backup

Cylon drive blinks frantic blue-red-blue-red and will not appear in Windows. Apparently, sometimes this just means the case is broken and if you remove it you can still use the HDD as an internal drive. I am a semi-competent adult! I can do this! Or else I can re-download 450GB of manga, TV, and movies. Right now that seems easier.
